TITLE: Maintenance Technician Non-Exempt.
Monday thrue Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Must have hydraulic, electrical and blueprint experience.

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance.
REPORTS TO: General Manager and VP of Operations.
BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS:
Safely perform duties in the support of overall day to day plant operations, utilizing maintenance electrical skills toward prevention of production down-time due to mechanical break downs. Assist in establishing consistent plant maintenance program for the purpose of continuous on-stream manufacturing of products.

BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assist in establishing consistent plant maintenance program for the purpose of continuous on-stream manufacturing of products.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Perform Electrical & electronic maintenance on manufacturing equipment including drives, motors, electrical panels, PLC, wiring, connections, etc. Report to work on time in proper uniform; proper attitude and all required tools/equipment.
- Assist in scheduled PM’s on machinery; Perform job duties in a safe, organized, clean, and efficient manner; work with production team when needed to support work order system; mandatory overtime may be needed during busy times and big projects.
- Work on new projects for electrical cabling of new building, office building, computer network cabling.
- Work on new projects for manufacturing equipment installation- all electrical cabling, setting up of panels, ensuring proper power supply; Develop and work on maintenance schedules for manufacturing equipment.
- Identify requirements of spare parts, obtain approvals & place purchase orders after proper negotiation.
- Diagnose and repair problems within a timely manner; Make adjustments as needed.
- Attend to equipment breakdowns quickly.
- Consistently practice lockout/tagout safety procedures.
- Be available on call.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area; Support team members by assisting where needed.
- Perform all duties as instructed by supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3-5 years maintenance experience or equivalent combination of training and experience in industrial mechanics.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Must be skilled in industrial maintenance repairs, planning, organizing, scheduling and monitoring the work capabilities of others.
- Safety and Security Consciousness.
- Must be able to handle required lifting weight.
- Frequent bending, twisting, and standing for the duration of your shift is required.
